Curriculum Characteristics

Curriculum emphasizes child-centered design at differential levels to match the life experience and community contexts, using stories, whole language approach, Project Approach , Montessori philosophy's practical life training, and aesthetic activities to promote children creativity to achieve holistic development, and to cultivate self-initiated learning attitudes and autonomy. 

Curriculum Goals

Children develop healthy lifestyle, and coordination of physical movements, for strong physique.
Children can appreciate beautiful and heart waving things and interested in using different media, such as art activities, to express emotions.


Whole Language Approach

​​​​We are convinced that teaching languages used in a social context or applied in real situations can help enhancing children's reading, writing and listening skills. Hence, teachers always act as storytellers and further require children to role-play and perform discussions. 

In addition to activities, classrooms in our school are also equipped with language corners, which can let children learn vocabularies via wonderful decorations and interesting mini-games. 

Project Approach

We conducts children-centered, inquiry-based learning activities with children based on their abilities and interests, which allows them to explore and understand the relationships between objects, build knowledge, cultivate curiosity, establish multidimensional and logical thinking, and improve problem-solving skills through interactions with their surroundings and first-hand experiences. This will lay the foundation for their lifelong learning. 

S.M.A.R.T. Programme

The SMART writing formula utilizes sensory integration activities to build concentration, rhythm and posture; arts and crafts activities to improve grip strength and coordinated pen control. It uses effective methods to facilitate learning and makes use of teaching materials to aid with visual-spatial coordination, thus allowing children to establish a solid foundation prior to writing. 

Emotion education

The school stress children's emotions education by providing environment for growth and teachers-children relationship filled with love, trust, safety, and happiness, stable daily routines and patterns for rest and activities, and by building children's sense of security, self-understanding and responsiveness to self and others' emotions and by fostering children's positive self-image and attitudes towards learning and living. 

Life Training

The school focuses on the all-rounded development of children. We provide appropriate life skills training to children of different ages and developmental stages, in order to enhance their hand-eye coordination, abilities to use both hands, fingers flexibility, and thus their overall self-care abilities. 

Language Enrichment Programme

The school has recruited foreign and mandarin teachers, who, through the use of different activities such as stories, nursery rhymes and drawing, allow children to converse naturally in English and in Mandarin, thus raising their interest and abilities in their second language. 

Integrated programme

Our school will design individual learning programs, through individual and group counselling, in multiple learning settings, for children with individual learning differences and abilities, supplemented by on-site Speech Therapists for individual or group treatment, and writing. Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Clinical Psychologists from the Social Welfare Department to follow-up children's progress and provide professional consultation to support teachers , such that the basic skills of the children could be promoted.
